It is zero degrees and the wind is howling. I have taken the easy road and drove the feed truck. JJ on the other hand has it a little harder. I’m very comfy in the heated truck. Hope he doesn’t ask me to feed today!
The daily in and outs of ranch life.

This was our first show back on 5th grade. He was ornery as all get out, but when asked he gave everything to whatever I asked. He died this year at 35 years old. He was truly my best bud fir so many years.

We moved cows for Weaning today and there were several old hides that did not want to move. Jipsey did her fair share of persuading them. However her poor face shows her work.

Jipsey moving cows. Love her eagerness, at just over a year old, she is a die hard worker.

My husband is getting a count of heifers we moved. Jipsey is learning to sit and wait. Patience is not a key word for her right now. But she’s learning quickly.

Yep, they live to work. As soon as my husband was in sight Tinker left me high and dry. But Jipsey did good.
Well I thought my life would calm down, however the next week is so chaotic not sure when I will get any of my stuff done.

That is just for the next day. It is like this until Wed. Not sure when laundry will be done. I need a maid, actually I need a cone of myself.

Yesterday we went up the mountain to gather up the few strays we could find. It was a fry cry from the beautiful day Saturday to 4 days later. Let me just say running tennis shoes and blowing snow equal very cold feet. I will reconsider my choice of footwear from now on!

We didn’t get the snow that was predicted last night. However we did get some ice.
