The Modern Ranch Wife

I am fairly new to knitting as you are well aware. However I love the challenges it gives me. Since retiring from teaching and working on the ranch, sometimes I crave the challenges to keep my brain active. Let’s face it, when my brain is idle, bad things tend to happen. Ideas spring up for all kinds of things.

I found this simple fair isle snowflake hat. For my first fair isle, I felt like I did pretty good. I did find out that I do need to go up a needle size when I do the color work so that it doesn’t get tight. I will do that next time.
